About
I was born and raised in Iran, but have lived more than half my life in the United States, so I am familiar with the challenges common to those who live with one foot in each culture. I have studied Comparative Culture in Iran and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. I also have a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy from Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My training includes work at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA, and TEENLINE at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles; as well as Chicago School of Professional Psychology Counseling Center. I am currently working with people who are active in their addiction.
I am fluent in English and Farsi and have therapy experience in both languages.
